2. Recognize invalid:

2) the order of the Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan of November 30, 2023 No. 479-HK "About modification and amendments in some orders" (it is registered in the Register of state registration of regulatory legal acts No. 33724).

3. To provide to committee of information of the Ministry of Culture and information of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

1) state registration of this order in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2) placement of this order on Internet resource of the Ministry of Culture and information of the Republic of Kazakhstan after its official publication;

3) within ten working days after state registration of this order in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan submission to Legal department of the Ministry of Culture and information of the Republic of Kazakhstan of data on execution of the actions provided by subitems 1) and 2) of this Item.

4. To impose control of execution of this order on the supervising vice-Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

5. This order becomes effective after ten calendar days after day of its first official publication, except for the subitem 4) of Item 3 of the Regulations on the Republican commission on questions of the state information policy which becomes effective since January 1, 2025.

Chapter 1. General provisions

1. This Regulations on the Republican commission on questions of the state information policy (further - the Provision) are developed according to Item 1 of article 32 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About mass media" and the subitem 10) of Item 15 of the Regulations on the Ministry of Culture and information of the Republic of Kazakhstan approved by the order of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan of October 4, 2023 No. 866 "About some questions of the Ministry of Culture and information of the Republic of Kazakhstan".

2. Authorized body in the field of mass media (further - authorized body) - the central executive body performing state regulation in the field of mass media.

Chapter 2. Functions and activities of the Commission

3. The main functions of the commission are:

1) approval of the thematic directions of the state information policy at the republican level;

2) consideration of the list of the thematic directions of the state information policy at the regional level and development of offers according to the procedure determined by authorized body;

3) consideration of requests of applicants for receipt of the state order on carrying out the state information policy at the republican and regional levels including directed to content production for children both development of regional periodic printing editions, and development of offers according to rules of placement of the state order on carrying out the state information policy at the republican and regional levels;

4) determination and approval of the thematic directions of grants for non-state mass media at the republican level and the amounts of financing on them;

5) implementation of the functions approved by the order of the acting minister of culture and information of the Republic of Kazakhstan of October 29, 2024 No. 499-HK "About approval of Rules of provision and monitoring of realization of grants" (it is registered in the Register of state registration of regulatory legal acts for No. 35317) (further - Rules of grants);

6) implementation of the functions approved by the order of the acting minister of culture and information of the Republic of Kazakhstan of November 6, 2024 No. 527-HK "About approval of Rules of placement of the state order on carrying out the state information policy at the republican level" (it is registered in the Register of state registration of regulatory legal acts for No. 35348) (further - Rules of the republican order);

7) implementation of the functions approved by the order of the acting minister of culture and information of the Republic of Kazakhstan of November 6, 2024 No. 526-HK "About approval of Rules of placement of the state order on carrying out the state information policy at the regional level" (it is registered in the Register of state registration of regulatory legal acts for No. 35349).

4. The structure of the Commission is created and affirms the order of authorized body from among the head of department of authorized body, representatives of public associations in the field of mass media, representatives of non-profit organizations, the mass media interested state bodies.

5. The commission consists of the chairman, members of the commission and the secretary.

Commission chairman is the head of department of authorized body or person replacing it.

The secretary of the Commission is the head of the structural unit of department of authorized body.
