About increase in efficiency of activities of Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Russian Federation
For the purpose of assistance to timely protection of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and also establishment of close cooperation with law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation in questions of fight against organized crime, terrorism, extremism, human trafficking, illegal migration and other types of crimes:
1. Enter into the staff list of Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Russian Federation (further - Embassy) additional position of the first secretary - the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan (further - the Representative) with corresponding change of the salary fund.
2. Determine the main objectives of the Representative:
strengthening of the close cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation based on mutual trust and the conventional principles and rules of international law;
preparation of carefully developed practical offers on development of cooperation in questions of fight against crime and ensuring public safety between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation on permanent basis, and also rendering assistance to expansion of international cooperation in questions of ensuring protection of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
strengthening of practical cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, other law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation on fight against organized crime, terrorism, extremism, human trafficking, illegal migration and other types of crimes, and also rendering assistance in their disclosure and the organization of exchange of operational information in these directions;
rendering assistance in accomplishment of consular functions on protection of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
acceptance and consideration of oral, written or electronic appeals of physical persons and legal entities concerning crime, offenses, human trafficking and illegal migration according to the procedure, provided by acts of the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
3. Determine that:
The representative is appointed to position by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan on representation of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan in coordination in accordance with the established procedure with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
The representative regarding activities in law-enforcement bodies submits to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
4. To the Ministry of Economics and finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan:
proceeding from changes in organizational and regular structure of Embassy to take into account maintenance costs of the Representative in the amounts of financing of the diplomatic representations and consular establishments abroad provided in the Government budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2025;
allocate to Embassy additional limit and funds for acquisition and content of one vehicle.
5. To the Ministry of Internal Affairs together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan to develop and approve in accordance with the established procedure Regulations on activities of the Representative in a month.
6. To the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan to make in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan offers on the changes and amendments in acts of the legislation following from this resolution in a month.
7. To impose control of execution of this resolution on the secretary of the Security Council in case of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Makhmudov V. V., the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan P. R. Bobozhonov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan B. O. Saidov.
