About the status of the volunteer Erkrap

Article 1. Concept "Erkrapa"

1. Erkrapa-istoricheski the developed system of moral values based on courage, patriotism, self-sacrifice of persons who were voluntarily participating (gone) into action of protection of the Homeland which is the cornerstone of military patriotic education of teenagers and youth in the Republic of Armenia.

Article 2. Volunteer Erkrapa

1. In sense of this Law, as Erkrap's volunteers are considered during the period from 1989 to 1994:

1) persons who were involved in fights on defense of borders of the Republic of Armenia lasting at least three months, and also the persons who died or who became disabled people as a result of wound during fighting irrespective of the period of participation in fighting, which:

and. were part of the voluntary groups registered in accordance with the established procedure

. were part of crews of passenger airplanes or helicopters and performed servicing of the combat zone;

2) the persons which were performing or gave help in conducting fighting on site of conducting fighting lasting at least three months or to the faces included in them which serviced fighting or the faces included in them

Article 3. Guarantees of social security of the volunteer Erkrap and members of his family

1. Guarantees of social security of the volunteer Erkrap and members of his family are established by the law of the Republic of Armenia "About social security of the military personnel and members of their families".

Article 4. Procedure for assignment of the status of the volunteer Erkrap

1. The status of the volunteer Erkrap is provided by authorized body of public administration in the field of defense according to the procedure, established by the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

2. The authorized body of public administration provides the status dobrovoltsa-Erkrapa based on the positive conclusion of the interdepartmental commission created by the Government of the Republic of Armenia. The documents established by the Government of the Republic of Armenia are represented to the interdepartmental commission in time, established by part 8 of this Article.

3. For the purpose of receipt of the status of the volunteer Erkrap the physical person submits the application to authorized body of public administration, attaching the positive conclusion of the interdepartmental commission.

4. The application form is established by the head of authorized body of public administration.

5. The positive conclusion of the interdepartmental commission is not issued if:

1) all documents established by the Government of the Republic of Armenia were not submitted;

2) forgery documents were submitted;

3) there is basis for refusal provided by part 7 of this Article;

4) documents are filed after the term established by part 8 of this Article.

6. If the documents enclosed to the application are incomplete, the interdepartmental commission suggests the applicant to submit complete documents or to eliminate the specified defects within twenty days.

7. In case of non-presentation of complete documents in time, established by part 6 of this Article, or elimination of the specified shortcomings the statement deviates

8. The application for receipt of the status of the volunteer Erkrap till December 1, 2017 is submitted to the interdepartmental commission created by the government of the Republic of Armenia.

Article 5. Final part

1. This law becomes effective for the tenth day after day of official publication.

Article 6. Transitional provision

1. The procedure for provision of the status of the volunteer Erkrap and the list of necessary documents are established by the Government of the Republic of Armenia within three months after the introduction of this law in force.
