According to Item 5-4 of article 34 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About banks and banking activity in the Republic of Kazakhstan" and Item 2-1 of article 4 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About microfinancial activities" Board of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on regulation and development of the DECIDES: financial market

1. Approve the enclosed Requirements to the amount of consumer bank loan and the consumer microcredit.

2. To provide to department of methodology and prudential regulation of the financial organizations in the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

1) together with Legal department state registration of this resolution in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2) placement of this resolution on official Internet resource of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on regulation and development of the financial market after its official publication;

3) within ten working days after state registration of this resolution submission to Legal department of data on execution of the action provided by the subitem 2) of this Item.

3. To impose control of execution of this resolution on the supervising vice-chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on regulation and development of the financial market.

4. This resolution becomes effective since August 20, 2024 and is subject to official publication.

Requirements to the amount of consumer bank loan and consumer microcredit

1. These Requirements to the amount of consumer bank loan and the consumer microcredit are developed according to Item 5-4 of article 34 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About banks and banking activity in the Republic of Kazakhstan" and Item 2-1 of article 4 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About microfinancial activities" and determine requirements to the amount of the consumer bank loan issued by the banks of the second level and the organizations performing separate types of banking activities, and the consumer microcredit issued by the organizations performing microfinancial activities.

2. The amount of the consumer bank loan issued by the banks of the second level and the organizations performing separate types of banking activities conforms to the following requirements:

on unsecured bank loan - no more than two thousand of two hundredfold monthly settlement indicator established by the law on the republican budget for the corresponding financial year;

on the bank loan provided with pledge - without restrictions.

3. The amount of the consumer microcredit issued by the organizations performing microfinancial activities conforms to the following requirements:

on the unsecured microcredit - no more than one thousand hundredfold monthly settlement indicator established by the law on the republican budget for the corresponding financial year;

on the microcredit provided with pledge - within the amounts, stipulated in Item 1-1 article 3 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About microfinancial activities".
