Some questions of liability insurance for nuclear damage

According to part four of article 8 of the Law of Ukraine "About the civil responsibility for nuclear harm and its financial provision" the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides:

1. Authorize:

The ministry of power - on implementation of payments for compensation of the nuclear harm done by nuclear incident on nuclear installations of JSC NAEK Energoatom, National scientific center "Kharkiv Physics and Technology Institute" and Institute of nuclear researches of National academy of Sciences of Ukraine;

The ministry of environment protection and natural resources - on implementation of payments for compensation of the nuclear harm done by nuclear incident on nuclear installations of the state specialized enterprise "Chernobyl NPP".

2. Recognize invalid resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine according to the enclosed list.

3. To Department of Energy together with the Ministry of environment protection and natural resources in three-months time from the date of entry into force of this resolution to develop and approve in coordination with National Bank procedure and conditions of liability insurance of the operator of nuclear installation for nuclear harm.
