About accession of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Geneva act of the Hague agreement on the international registration of industrial designs (Geneva, on July 2, 1999)

Join the Geneva act of the Hague agreement on the international registration of industrial designs (Geneva, on July 2, 1999) with the following statements:

5) according to the subitem (c) of Item 3 of article 17 of the Geneva act of the Hague agreement: "The Republic of Uzbekistan declares that effective period of exclusive right on industrial design constitutes five years and can repeatedly be prolonged for five years according to the statement of the owner, but in general no more than for fifteen years, considering from the date of the international registration";
6) on item 4 of the rule 13 General instructions to the Act of 1999 and the Act of 1960. Hague agreement: "The Republic of Uzbekistan declares that term in one month necessary for sending materials of the international application submitted through Department of the Republic of Uzbekistan is replaced for a period of six months, necessary for conducting check regarding observance of safety requirements";
7) according to the subitem (b) of Item 1 of the rule 18 General instructions to the Act of 1999 and the Act of 1960. Hague agreement: "The Republic of Uzbekistan declares that the deadline for preparation of the letter notification on refusal in provision of protection in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan constitutes 12 months";
8) according to the subitem (c) (i) of Item 1 of the rule 18 General instructions to the Act of 1999 and the Act of 1960. Hague agreement: "The Republic of Uzbekistan declares that action of the international registration of industrial design in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan begins from the date of the direction its Department in the International bureau of World Intellectual Property Organization of the notification on protection provision".
