According to article 23 of the Federal law "About Geodesy, Cartography and Space Data and on Modification of Separate Legal Acts of the Russian Federation" Government of the Russian Federation decides:
1. Approve the enclosed Rules of use in the territory of the Russian Federation of geoinformation technologies, geographic information systems and geoinformation means when implementing geodetic and cartographic activities, including creation, search, collection, storage, processing, provision, use and distribution of space data, including with telecommunication use, foreign states, the international organizations, and also being under their control by the organizations, foreign legal entities, foreign citizens, stateless persons, the citizens of the Russian Federation having nationality of other state, their affiliates.
2. This resolution becomes effective since September 1, 2024 and is effective till September 1, 2030.
