About approval of the Concept of the Information system "State Register of Genetic Data" and Regulations on procedure for maintaining the State register of genetic data

Based on part (1) article 7 of the Law No. 235/2017 on judicial and genomic registration (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2017, No. 441 - 450, the Art. 740), parts (1) article 16 of the Law No. 71/2007 on registers (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2007, No. 70 - 73, the Art. 314), with subsequent changes, and Item d) article 22 of the Law No. 467/2003 on informatization and the state information resources (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2004, No. 16 - 12, the Art. 44), with subsequent changes, DECIDES: the Government

1. Found "The state register of genetic data".

2. Approve:

1) the Concept of the Information system "State Register of Genetic Data", according to appendix No. 1;

2) Regulations on procedure for maintaining the State register of genetic data, according to appendix No. 2.

3. To provide to the Ministry of Internal Affairs as the owner of the Information system "State Register of Genetic Data" legal, financial and organizational conditions for creation, administration, servicing and development of the specified information system.

4. Annually till January 31 to the owner to represent to the National center for personal data protection the generalized report on cases of violation of safety within the Information system "State Register of Genetic Data".

5. To impose control over the implementation of this resolution on the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

6. This resolution becomes effective from the date of publication in the Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova.
