Regulations on the Commission on regulation of customs procedures in case of commodity importation and vehicles on the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan

1. General provisions

1. The regulations on the Commission on regulation of customs procedures in case of commodity importation and vehicles on the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan (further - the Provision) determine the purposes and tasks, powers and the organization of activities of the Commission on regulation of customs procedures in case of commodity importation and vehicles on the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan (further - the Commission).

2. The commission is interdepartmental collegiate organ on ensuring the approved functioning and interaction of the central executive bodies of the government in the field of customs control.

- regulation of the legal relations connected with commodity importation and vehicles on customs area of the Republic of Tajikistan;

- contribution to development of national production and domestic market;

- replenishment of the government budget due to collection of customs payments and charges;

- creation of conditions for integration of economy of the Republic of Tajikistan into world economy.

5. The main objectives of the Commission are:

- development of measures for development and enhancement of methods of customs and tariff regulation, the prohibitions and restrictions according to the legislation in the field of state regulation of foreign trade activity connected with commodity importation and vehicles on customs area of the Republic of Tajikistan;

- control over the implementation of the international obligations of the Republic of Tajikistan concerning customs regulation at the international, regional and interregional level;

- coordination of works on project development of the regulatory legal acts directed to increase in efficiency of customs control and making of customs procedures in case of commodity importation and vehicles on the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan;

- consideration of questions of international cooperation in the sphere of customs control;

- commodity importation and vehicles on customs area of the Republic of Tajikistan;
