For the purpose of secured provision by water of the irrigated lands of the Kashkadarya region by upgrade of objects of water economy and effective management of water resources, electric power consumption optimization, and also further increase in efficiency of the "Capital and Recovery Repair of the Qarshi Cascade of Pumping Points (Phase III)" project:

1. Take into consideration that within project implementation "Capital and recovery repair of the Qarshi cascade of pumping points (Phase III)" (further - the Project) works with cost 70, are carried out by one million US dollars, by results of the held tender 34, 6 million US dollars, from them 19, by 82 million US dollars - borrowed funds of the Saudi fund of development, 14, by 78 million US dollars - the credits of Fund of reconstruction and development are saved in total.

2. Approve the offer of the Ministry of water economy, the Ministry of investments, the industry and trade, the Ministry of Economics and finance, and also khokimiyat of the Kashkadarya region on upgrade in addition of 9 pumping aggregates, purchase of 7 brands of the special equipment and 4 dredges for the account 34, of 6 million US dollars saved within the Project.

3. To the ministry of water economy (Sh. Hamrayev) till April 1, 2024 to introduce the draft of the relevant resolution on modification of the feasibility statement on the Project to the Cabinet of Ministers.

4. To the ministry of water economy (Sh. Hamrayev) together with the Ministry of Economics and finance (I. Norkulov), the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services (B. Zakirov) and khokimiyat of the Kashkadarya region (M. Azimov) to take measures on:

to concreting technically defective parts of the canals attached to pumping points for the purpose of the prevention of losses in soil of bed of channels of the water repumped by pumping points and also effective operation of resources of the electric power;

to development in 2024 to the design estimates and accomplishment since 2025 of construction works on concreting of the part constituting 26 kilometers, MK-2, channels Zafarobod and Kungirtog attached to pumping points of Kamashinsky and Kasansky districts within the Development program of social and production infrastructure of the Republic of Uzbekistan as pilot project in the Kashkadarya region.

5. (B. Saidov) to render the Ministry of Foreign Affairs assistance in bringing in accordance with the established procedure to the Turkmen side of the appeal of the Ministry of water economy of execution of entrance visas to Turkmenistan for the foreign and domestic specialists who are taking part in project implementation.

6. Make changes to some resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan according to appendix.

7. Assign to the minister of water economy Sh. R. Hamrayev the personal responsibility for the effective organization of execution of this resolution.

1.
