vice-chairmen of the State Customs Committee are appointed by the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, chiefs of managements of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the Republic of Karakalpakstan, areas, the city of Tashkent and specialized customs complexes – the order of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Include to the officials of the commanding structure of the abolished Head customs authority of the State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan having special and personal ranks, time of their work in customs authorities during the period from January 18, 1994 to July 8, 1997 in service length for charge of payments of length-of-service allowances and in case of registration of pension in relation to workers of internal affairs.

Determine that provision of pensions of officials of customs authorities and members of their families is performed on conditions and on the regulations established by the current legislation for persons passing military service or service in law-enforcement bodies and members of their families.

7. For the purpose of development of material and technical resources of customs authorities and accomplishment of social programs to create in the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan special fund of financial support, social protection, development of customs authorities and contingencies based on special fund of financial support and development of customs authorities of the Head customs authority of the State Tax Committee.

Determine that the specified special fund is created for acquisition account in the form of customs fees and payments for the rendered services.

To the State Customs Committee together with the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan in two weeks to develop and approve Regulations on procedure for education and use of special fund of financial support, social protection, development of customs authorities and contingencies.

8. To the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

together with the interested ministries and departments to develop and till December 1, 1997 to introduce for consideration in the Cabinet of Ministers the Program of further enhancement of customs control and development of material and technical resources of customs authorities for 1998-2000;

in two-month time together with the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan to develop and submit for approval in the Cabinet of Ministers Regulations on service in customs authorities;

provide on requests of the State committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan according to the statistics, the Ministries of Finance, the Ministries of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trades, and also the Central bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan reporting data on customs statistics.

10. To the Ministry of Economics, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan when forming annual investing programs to provide inclusion in them of construction, expansion and reconstruction of objects of the State Customs Committee.

11. To the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan to keep the operating procedure for medical attendance of staff of the State Customs Committee and members of their families.

12. For the purpose of improvement of work on preparation and retraining of personnel for customs authorities, to increase in their professional level, and also training of specialists in customs clearance to transform Interregional training center of the Head customs authority of the State Tax Committee to Training center of the State Customs Committee with the number of staff of 20 units (without the servicing and support personnel), within the total number of employees of the State Customs Committee.

13. To the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Service of homeland security of the Republic of Uzbekistan to organize, since 1997, based on Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Institute of Service of homeland security special rates on preparation and retraining of officials of the customs authorities performing operational search activities.

14. Declare invalid the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan of March 4, 1994 No. 114 "About questions of the organization of activities of the State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan" in the part concerning the organization of activities of customs authorities.

15. To impose control over the implementation of this resolution on the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sultanov U. T.

Regulations on the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan

I. General provisions

1. The State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan (in the further State Customs Committee) according to the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan is state body.
