About the announcement of the period of 2023-2027 Fifth anniversary of actions for development of mountain regions

For the purpose of ensuring ecological, economic, food security of the country, increase in climatic stability, preserving natural heritage and carrying out in 2023-2027 the Fifth anniversary of actions for development of mountain regions announced by the General Assembly resolution "Sustainable Mountain Development" No. A/RES/77/172, adopted on December 14, 2022 (further - the General Assembly resolution "Sustainable Mountain Development" No. A/RES/77/172) at the initiative of the Kyrgyz Republic, being guided by article 71 of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic, I decide:

1. Announce in the Kyrgyz Republic the period of 2023-2027 the Fifth anniversary of actions for development of mountain regions.

2. Form organizing committee for preparation and carrying out the Fifth anniversary of actions for development of mountain regions in structure according to appendix 1.

3. Appoint Aytmurzayev Nurlan Tashmurzayevich the special representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic on realization of the Fifth anniversary of actions for development of mountain regions (further - the special representative).

4. Bring in the Presidential decree of the Kyrgyz Republic "About approval of the Register of the state and municipal positions of the Kyrgyz Republic" of January 31, 2017 No. 17 the following change:

in the Register of the state and municipal positions of the Kyrgyz Republic approved by the above-named Decree:

- 1 "Political state positions" of the Section I to state the paragraph of chapter 6 in the following edition:

"The secretary of the Security Council, the special representative of the President according to special orders, the special representative of the President on realization of the Fifth anniversary of actions for development of mountain regions".

5. Ceased to be valid according to the Presidential decree of the Kyrgyz Republic of 08.12.2023 No. 336

6. To the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic to develop and submit for approval of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic the draft of the Road map on realization of the Fifth anniversary of actions for development of mountain regions in a month.

7. To the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic to approve the Road map on realization of the Fifth anniversary of actions for development of mountain regions.

8. To Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in accordance with the established procedure to take the adequate measures following from this Decree.

9. To impose control of execution of this Decree on management of control of execution of decisions of the President and the Presidential Administration Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.

10. This Decree becomes effective after ten days from the date of official publication.
