2. This Decision becomes effective from the effective date the Protocol on introduction of amendments to the Agreement on the Eurasian Economic Union of the May 29, 2014 signed on March 31, 2022, but not earlier than after 30 calendar days from the date of official publication of this Decision.

1. This Procedure is developed according to the Agreement on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014 (further - the Agreement) and determines rules of carrying out obligatory periodic assessment of scientific and technical level of the become effective technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (further respectively - technical regulations, the Union), lists of the international and regional (interstate) standards, and in case of their absence - national (state) standards as a result of which application on voluntary basis observance of requirements of technical regulations, and lists of the international and regional (interstate) standards, and in case of their absence - the national (state) standards containing rules and methods of researches (testing) and measurements, including rules of sampling is provided necessary for application and execution of requirements of technical regulations and implementation of assessment of conformity of objects of technical regulation (further respectively - the scientific and technical level, lists of standards), for the purpose of monitoring of relevance, justification and prospects of the requirements to safety of products released in the single market of the Union established in them.

2. The purpose of obligatory periodic assessment of scientific and technical level is ensuring compliance of technical regulation within the Union to the level of economic development of state members of the Union (further - state members) and to technological level of industries of economy of state members.
