1. Ceased to be valid according to the Order of the Government of the Republic of Moldova of 18.07.2018 No. 720
2. Approve:
Regulations on procedure for putting down of apostille according to appendix No. 1;
changes and additions which are made to the separate orders of the Government, according to appendix No. 2.
3. Determine that application and recognition of apostille comes into effect since March 16, 2006 - the date of entry into force for the Republic of Moldova of the Convention canceling the requirement of legalization of foreign official documents.
4. To the Ministry of Justice in 15-day time:
develop and approve regulations on department of the analysis, monitoring and assessment the politician;
make changes and additions to Regulations on Head department of the international relations and the European integration;
develop and provide to the Government in accordance with the established procedure regulations on the Center of legal information.

to the Order of the Government of the Republic of Moldova of February 15, 2007 No. 163
1. The regulations on procedure for putting down of apostille (further provision) are developed for the purpose of realization of provisions of the Law on accession to the Convention canceling the requirement of legalization of foreign official documents No. 42-XVI of March 2, 2006. (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2006, Art. No. 47-50, 206) (further - the Convention).
2. This provision establishes the procedure of consideration of the signs confirming authenticity of the documents which are subject to apostilization and the procedure of putting down of apostille on the official documents made in the territory of the Republic of Moldova and held for use in the territory of other state.
3. It is determined that putting down and recognition of apostille will be performed since March 16, 2007 - the date of entry into force for the Republic of Moldova of the Convention canceling the requirement of legalization of foreign official documents.
4. For the purposes of this provision the used concepts mean:
apostille - the print of the stamp specified in appendix No. 1 to this provision, filled in all graphs and under seal in the appropriate order;
putting down of apostille - the single formal procedure which can be required for the authentication of the signature, quality in which person which signed the document, or, if necessary, authenticity of seal or stamp which fasten this document acted;
the official document - the original document constituted in the form established by the law, published by bodies of the public power or person authorized by the state to render from his name public services, and also the duplicate or the scanned copy of the original document signed by the digital signature the applicant;
responsible body - body of the public power, authorized to put down apostille according to provisions of article 2 of the Law on accession to the Convention canceling the requirement of legalization of foreign official documents No. 42-XVI of March 2, 2006;
e-apostille - the apostille issued in electronic format as the PDF file which contains the apostille together with the scanned copy of the original document signed by the digital signature the competent person from responsible body;
the competent person - the person from responsible body designated by the official document his head for putting down of apostille on official acts;
the applicant - the owner of the official act or person who owns him and requires him to apostille.
5. Putting down of apostille cannot be required if the laws, the rules or customs operating in the state to which the document, or the arrangement between two or several contracting states is submitted simplify or exempt the document from legalization.
6. The official documents made in the territory of the State Parties of the Convention on which the apostille in accordance with the terms is put down, established by this convention, are recognized in the territory of the Republic of Moldova without additional legalization.
7. In the activities about putting down of apostille responsible bodies are guided by the Convention canceling the requirement of the legalization of foreign official documents concluded in the Hague on October 5, 1961, the current legislation of the Republic of Moldova and this provision.
8. For putting down of apostille only official documents which are made in the territory of the Republic of Moldova are submitted and are subject to use in the territory of other state, the participant of the Convention.
9. The agency of legal information resources is responsible for putting down of apostille on the following official documents issued addressed to and for the benefit of physical persons and legal entities:
a) the acts of civil status issued after February 24, 1998;
b) No. 739 is excluded according to the Order of the Government of the Republic of Moldova of 18.09.2013
c) No. 739 is excluded according to the Order of the Government of the Republic of Moldova of 18.09.2013
