About approval of the Regulations on class ranks of prosecution agencies workers of the Republic of Tajikistan

1. Approve, the enclosed Regulations on class ranks of prosecution agencies workers of the Republic of Tajikistan.

2. Declare invalid the Presidential decree of the Republic of Tajikistan of April 17, 1998 No. 984 "About approval of the Regulations on class ranks of prosecution agencies workers of the Republic of Tajikistan".

Regulations on class ranks of prosecution agencies workers of the Republic of Tajikistan

I. General provisions

1. Regulations on class ranks of prosecution agencies workers of the Republic of Tajikistan, (further - the Provision) it is developed according to the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "About bodies of prosecutor's office of the Republic of Tajikistan" and establishes procedure for assignment and deprivation of class ranks to employees of bodies of prosecutor's office, including the staff of educational institutions of system of prosecutor's office of the Republic of Tajikistan.

2. The following class ranks are appropriated to prosecutors and investigators, employees of scientific and educational institutions of system of prosecutor's office of the Republic of Tajikistan depending on posts and length of service:

Valid counselor of state of justice;

Counselor of state of justice of 1 class;

Counselor of state of justice 2 classes;

Counselor of state of justice 3 classes;

Adviser of justice of 1 class;

Adviser of justice 2 classes;

Adviser of justice 3 classes;

Lawyer of 1 class;

Lawyer 2 classes;

Lawyer 3 classes.

3. Assignment of each class rank is made in consecutive procedure in case of the positive characteristic, taking into account post and length of service.

Assignment of the class rank, without respect for the sequence, is allowed only in the cases provided in Items 10 and 11 of this provision.

4. To each employee of bodies of prosecutor's office it is appropriated, taking into account the requirements established below, the class rank corresponding to this position:
