About modification and amendments in the Criminal code of the Republic of Armenia

Article 1. In article 426 of the Criminal code of the Republic of Armenia of May 5, 2021 (further – the Code):
Shall be replaced with words 1) regarding 1 word "from one to four" "from two to five";
To add 2) with part 2 following of content:
"2. The act provided by part of 1 this Article, which entailed property damage in especially large sizes or other heavy effect is punished by imprisonment for a period of four up to eight years.".
Article 2. In article 427 of the Code:
Shall be replaced with words 1) regarding 1 word "from one to four" "from two to five";
To exclude 2) regarding 2 words "on imprudence", and shall be replaced with words the words "from three to six" "from four to eight".
Article 3. In article 428 of the Code:
1) 1 after the word "has the right" to add part with words "if as a result of it caused property damage in large sizes or other essential damage to legitimate interests of the state", and in the same part of the word "no more than in twentyfold size, or social jobs lasting from eighty till hundred fifty o'clock, or restriction of freedom for a period of up to two years, or short-term imprisonment for a period of up to one month, or imprisonment for a period of up to two years" shall be replaced with words "from tenfold to the thirtyfold size, or social jobs lasting from hundred till two hundred o'clock, or restriction of freedom for a period of one up to three years, or short-term imprisonment for a period of one up to two months, or imprisonment for a period of one up to three years";
To exclude 2) regarding 2 words "on imprudence", and "imprisonment from one to three" shall be replaced with words words "imprisonment from two to five".
