About additional measures for ensuring price stability in the consumer markets
For the purpose of strengthening of consumer capability of the population, satisfaction of his needs for main types of food and consumer products, diversification of global chains of providing with goods, and also control of the rate of inflation:
1. Approve the Inventory when which importing to the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan till January 1, 2024 the zero rate of customs duty, according to appendix No. 1 is applied.
2. In the Presidential decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan of May 31, 2022 No. UP-145 "About Additional Measures for Ensuring Price Stability in the Consumer Markets and to Increase in Effectiveness of Anti-monopoly Measures":
in Item 1 and in the name of appendix No. 1 of the word "till July 1, 2023" shall be replaced with words "till January 1, 2024";
in item 4 of the word "till January 1, 2023" shall be replaced with words "till January 1, 2024".
3. To the Cabinet of Ministers (Zh. Hodzhayev) in a month together with the interested ministries and departments to make in Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan offers about:
increase in efficiency of process of the state control when importing food and agricultural products to the territory of the republic and its adjustment on the basis of the principle risk analysis;
extension of the inventory of daily demand to which when importing the zero rate of customs duty is applied.
4. To the ministry of investments, industry and trade together with the interested ministries and departments in two-month time to make in the Cabinet of Ministers offers on the changes and amendments in acts of the legislation following from this Decree.
5. To impose control of execution of this Decree on the deputy prime minister Zh. A. Hodzhayev.
