Rules of submission of space data in National infrastructure of space data

Chapter 1. General provisions

1. These rules of submission of space data in National infrastructure of space data (further - Rules) are developed according to the subitem 3) of article 12 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About geodesy, cartography and space data" (further - the Law) and determine procedure for submission of space data in National infrastructure of space data.

2. In these rules the following basic concepts are used:

1) subjects of geodetic and cartographic activities - the central state bodies and local executive bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan within their competence established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and also physical persons and legal entities;

2) the geoportal - the digital system providing access to space data and geoservices of space data by telecommunications;

3) interoperability - the principle of mutually compatibility expressing capability of space data, metadata, technical and software to functional and information exchange;
