About establishment of rate of import customs duty of the Common customs tariff of the Eurasian Economic Union concerning separate types of containers

According to articles 42 and 45of the Agreement on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014 and Items 16 and 18of the Regulations on the Eurasian economic commission (appendix №1 to the Agreement on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014) the Board of the Eurasian economic commission decided:

1. Establish rate of import customs duty of the Common customs tariff of the Eurasian Economic Union approved by the Decision of Council of the Eurasian economic commission of September 14, 2021 No. 80, concerning separate types of the containers classified by code 8609 00 900 9 of the CN FEA EEU in the amount of 0 percent from customs value from March 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023 inclusive.

2. Bring in the Common customs tariff of the Eurasian Economic Union approved by the Decision of Council of the Eurasian economic commission of September 14, 2021 No. 80, the following changes:

a) in line item with code 8609 00 900 9 of the CN FEA EEU to replace the reference to the note to the Common customs tariff of the Eurasian Economic Union "<70C>" with the reference "<78C>";

b) in notes to the Common customs tariff of the Eurasian Economic Union:

declare the note 70C invalid;

add with the note 78C of the following content:

"<78C> the Rate of import customs duty in the amount of 0 (zero) % of customs value is applied from 01.03.2023 till 31.12.2023 inclusive.".

3. This Decision becomes effective after 10 calendar days from the date of its official publication, but not earlier than the date of entry into force of the decision of Council of the Eurasian economic commission on modification of the inventory to which the Republic of Kazakhstan according to obligations assumed as condition of accession to the World Trade Organization applies rates of import customs duties, lower in comparison with rates of duties of the Common customs tariff of the Eurasian Economic Union, and the sizes of such rates of duties concerning separate types of containers and extends to the legal relationship which arose since March 1, 2023.
