About establishment of additional non-working days during celebration of official dates and transfer of the days off in 2023
For the purpose of creation of conditions for good rest of citizens during celebration of official dates, "Uzbekiston buylab sayokhat kit ensuring effective use of days off and holidays in 2023 for further development of internal and pilgrim tourism within the Development program of internal tourism!":
1. Establish additional non-working days in 2023:
for all workers (irrespective of types of business week): Monday January 2, Monday April 24, Thursday June 29, Friday June 30;
for workers in case of six-day business week: Tuesday January 3, Monday March 20, environment March 22, Saturday April 22, Saturday July 1, Saturday September 2 and Saturday December 30.
2. Take into consideration that according to Article 208 of the Labor code approved by the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan of October 28, 2022 No. ZRU-798:
in connection with coincidence in 2023 on October 1 - the Teachers' Day and the mentor who is considered in the festive non-working day with Sunday - in the day off, this day off will be postponed for Monday October 2, 2023;
at the same time in case of accomplishment in festive non-working days of works which suspension is impossible on technological and organizational conditions (continuously operating production daily servicing of the population, work as shift method and others), transfer of the days off is not made.
3. Transfer in 2023 for workers in case of five-day business week the days off in the following procedure:
since Saturday January 7 on Tuesday January 3;
since Saturday March 11 on Monday March 20;
since Saturday March 25 on environment March 22.
4. Taking into account prolongation of festive (non-working) days for active recreation of the population of the republic:
To the Ministry of Culture and Tourism
to organize carrying out shares and provision of discounts for tourist demonstration objects (objects of cultural heritage, the museums) and hotel services;To recommend to the Federation Council of labor unions of Uzbekistan together with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of youth policy and sport, Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, khokimiyats of areas and the city of Tashkent carrying out shares and provision of discounts for sanatoria and improving organizations;
JSC Uzbekistan Airways, to JSC Uzbekiston temir yullari to recommend provision of discounts and carrying out shares for internal transportations.
5. Recommend to the Federation Council of labor unions of Uzbekistan:
the organization in labor collectives of explanatory work about the purposes, essence and contents of this Decree;
activization of work of the trade-union organizations for ensuring active recreation of workers and members of their families in the extended holidays.
6. To provide to national broadcasting company of Uzbekistan together with National news agency of Uzbekistan broad informing the population on the events held in holidays through mass media, in particular worldwide network the Internet.
7. This Decree will lose the force since January 1, 2024.
8. To impose control of execution of this Decree on the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. N. Aripov and the head of Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan S. U. Umurzakov.
