About additional measures for further development and broad promoting of types of cybersport

For the purpose of creation of ecosystem on safe development and promoting of cybersport in the republic, identifications, the choice and selection (selection) of talented youth by competitions and tournaments in system basis, and also its direction in professional cybersport, further expansion of works on preparation and attraction to the sphere of potential personnel for information technologies and the IT industry:

1. Take into consideration that the cybersport is officially acknowledged in the republic as separate sport.

2. Determine the main directions of development of types of cybersport:

implementation of system of preparation, retraining of professional athletes (cyberathletes) and trainers, skilled judges and commentators, and also other cybersport types specialists;

organization of the republican and international championships and tournaments, and also establishing worthy participation in prestigious international and regional competitions in cybersport types;

development and the edition scientific and methodologies and literature by cybersport types;

further development and expansion of infrastructure of cybersport, stimulation of attraction of direct investments to the sphere;

forming of positive public opinion concerning cybersport types, carrying out broad information and explanatory work in mass media and social networks.

3. Determine the Ministry of Sport, the Ministry of digital technologies and Agency on cases of youth by the competent state bodies responsible for development and broad promoting of types of cybersport in the republic.

At the same time to assign to them the following tasks:

on the Ministry of Sport - promotion of cybersport as official sport, the organization of the republican and international championships, tournaments and other competitions in it, taking measures to improvement of image of Uzbekistan on the world scene of cybersport;

on the Ministry of digital technologies - creation of necessary conditions for the domestic and foreign companies on the industry of computer games, assistance of the organization in the republican scale of the championships, tournaments and other competitions in cybersport;

on Agency on cases of youth - broad attraction to cybersport and additional motivation to success in this direction of youth, including physically challenged and disability, for the purpose of informative carrying out free time of the studying youth, creation of necessary conditions for participation of domestic cyberathletes in the international championships, tournaments and other competitions in cybersport.

4. Approve offers of the Ministry of youth policy and sport, the Ministry of digital technologies and the Agency for youth about carrying out since 2023 on traditional basis by cybersport types:

annually in April - the republican championship "Uzbekistan Esports Championship";

annually in December - the "Cup of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan" tournament;

annually in June - the Youth Cup tournament.

5. Determine that:

a) the republican championship "Uzbekistan Esports Championship", "Cup of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and "Youth Cup" tournaments will be organized in three stages according to the requirements determined in the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of April 11, 2022 No. PP-201. At the same time district (city) and regional stages are carried out in format online;

b) the republican championship "Uzbekistan Esports Championship" joins in the republican schedule sports and physical cultural events since January 1, 2024, the "Cup of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan" tournament - since January 1, 2023;
