About acceptance in citizenship of the Russian Federation in the simplified procedure for the foreign citizens who signed contracts on passing of military service, and members of their families

For the purpose of protection of rights and freedoms of man and citizen, being guided by the conventional principles and rules of international law, according to article 29 of the Federal Law of May 31, 2002 "About citizenship of the Russian Federation" I decide No. 62-FZ:

1. Determine that in citizenship of the Russian Federation in the simplified procedure according to part eight of article 14 of the Federal Law of May 31, 2002 No. 62-FZ "About citizenship of the Russian Federation" has the right to file applications for admission:

a) the foreign citizens who concluded during special military operation contracts on passing of military service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation or military forming for the term of one year;

b) spouses, children (including adopted (adopted) and parents of the foreign citizens called in the subitem "an" of this Item.

2. The foreign citizens called in the subitem "an" of Item 1 of this Decree:

a) submit applications for admission to citizenship of the Russian Federation in form according to appendix in any territorial authority of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation at the choice;

b) represent together with applications for admission to citizenship of the Russian Federation the following documents containing personal data of the applicant, and their copy:

identity document and nationality;

document testimonial of change of surname, name and (or) middle name;

the paragraph the fourth ceased to be valid according to the Presidential decree of the Russian Federation of 15.05.2023 No. 350

the contract on passing of military service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation or military forming signed for the term of one year;

c) in case of inclusion of children in the application for admission in citizenship of the Russian Federation represent:

d) the certificate of birth of the child included in the application for admission in citizenship of the Russian Federation;

the consent of the child aged from 14 up to 18 years on the acquisition of citizenship of the Russian Federation which is drawn up according to the paragraph third Item 5 of the Regulations on procedure for consideration of questions of the citizenship of the Russian Federation approved by the Presidential decree of the Russian Federation of November 14, 2002 No. 1325;

certificate on adoption (adoption).

3. Persons called in the subitem "b" of Item 1 of this Decree submit applications for admission to citizenship of the Russian Federation in form according to appendix in territorial authority of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation at their place of residence or the place of stay in the Russian Federation, and in case of lack of registration at them at the place of residence or the place of stay - in the place of the actual residence in the Russian Federation.

4. Persons called in the subitem "b" of Item 1 of this Decree together with applications for admission represent to citizenship of the Russian Federation:

a) the documents containing personal data of the applicant, and their copy:

identity document, nationality or lack of nationality;

document testimonial of change of surname, name and (or) middle name;

the certificate of birth of the child included in the application for admission in citizenship of the Russian Federation;

the consent of the child aged from 14 up to 18 years on the acquisition of citizenship of the Russian Federation which is drawn up according to the paragraph third Item 5 of the Regulations on procedure for consideration of questions of the citizenship of the Russian Federation approved by the Presidential decree of the Russian Federation of November 14, 2002 No. 1325;

b) the document confirming relationship degree with the foreign citizen called in the subitem "an" of Item 1 of this Decree (the certificate of birth, the document on marriage, the certificate on adoption (adoption) or other document);

c) ceased to be valid according to the Presidential decree of the Russian Federation of 15.05.2023 No. 350

d) the documents confirming absence of disease of drug addiction and infectious diseases which constitute danger to people around and are provided by the list approved by the federal executive body authorized by the Government of the Russian Federation. Such documents are not submitted by the foreign citizens and stateless persons having permission to temporary residence in the Russian Federation, the residence permit in the Russian Federation, the certificate of the refugee, the certificate on provision of provisional asylum in the territory of the Russian Federation or the certificate of the participant of the State program on rendering assistance to voluntary resettlement to the Russian Federation the compatriots living abroad;

e) the certificate on absence of the disease caused by human immunodeficiency virus (HIV infection). e) the document confirming the right to stay (residence) in the Russian Federation (the migration card, permission to temporary residence in the Russian Federation, the residence permit in the Russian Federation, the certificate of the refugee, the certificate on provision of provisional asylum in the territory of the Russian Federation), or the certificate of the participant of the State program on rendering assistance to voluntary resettlement to the Russian Federation the compatriots living abroad;

g) the copy of the contract on passing of military service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation or military forming signed by the foreign citizen called in the subitem "an" of Item 1 of this Decree for the term of one year certified in accordance with the established procedure.
