About free transportation of students

Based on Item 5 of article 47 of the Code of the Republic of Belarus on education and the paragraph of the sixth of Article 18 and subitem 1.2-1 of Item 1 of article 19 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of January 4, 2010 "About local authority and self-government in the Republic of Belarus" the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus DECIDES: No. 108-Z

1. Approve Regulations on procedure for the organization of free transportation of students it (is applied).

2. Make changes to resolutions of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus according to appendix.

3. Councils of deputies of regional and basic territorial levels within the competence have the right to make the decision on payment of carriage charges of the educational actions studying to venues, excursions, sports and improving, sports and mass, sporting, cultural events and back within social support of the students mastering contents of educational programs of general secondary and vocational education at the expense of means of the corresponding local budgets, and also other sources which are not prohibited by the legislation.

4. This resolution becomes effective since September 1, 2022.

1. In Rules of motor transportations of the passengers approved by the resolution of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of June 30, 2008 No. 972:

Regulations on procedure for the organization of free transportation of students

1. This Provision determines procedure for the organization of free transportation of students (further – free transportation).

2. Free transportation in the cases established in Item 2 of article 47 of the Code of the Republic of Belarus on education will be organized by the local executive and administrative organs which are founders of public institutions of education in whom students master contents of the educational program of preschool education, educational programs of general secondary, vocational education (further, unless otherwise specified, – public institutions of education).
