I ORDER:

1. Approve the enclosed Provision of republican public institution "Committee of information of the Ministry of information and social development of the Republic of Kazakhstan".

2. To provide to committee of information of the Ministry of information and social development of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

1) the direction within five working days of the copy of this order in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2) within ten calendar days from the date of approval of this order the direction it the copy in electronic form in the Kazakh and Russian languages in the Republican state company on the right of economic maintaining "The republican center of legal information" for inclusion in Reference control bank of regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

3) placement of this order on Internet resource of the Ministry of information and social development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3. To impose control of execution of this order on the supervising vice-minister of information and social development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

4. Declare invalid the order of the Minister of information and communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan of December 15, 2017 No. 450 "About approval of the Provision of republican public institution "Committee of information of the Ministry of information and communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan".

Chapter 1. General provisions

1. The republican public institution "Committee of information of the Ministry of information and social development of the Republic of Kazakhstan" (further – Committee) is the department of the Ministry of information and social development of the Republic of Kazakhstan (further – the Ministry) performing management in the field of information.

2. The committee performs the activities according to the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the laws, acts of the President and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, other regulatory legal acts, and also this Provision.

8) Managements of development of projects in the field of TV and radio broadcasting.

Chapter 2. Tasks, functions, rights and obligations of Committee

14. Tasks:

1) participation in realization of state policy in the field of mass media and TV and radio broadcasting;

2) implementation of state regulation and control in the field of mass media and TV and radio broadcasting;

3) international cooperation in the field of mass media within the competence according to the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

4) implementation of management of the corresponding industry (sphere) of public administration;

5) respect for the principle of meritocracy in case of acceptance for work and promotion of employees;

6) participation in project development on TV and radio broadcasting development;

7) implementation of other tasks assigned to Committee within the competence.
