Some questions of indexation of pensions

Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides:

1. Bring in the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of February 20, 2019 No. 124 "Questions of carrying out indexation of pensions in 2019" (The Official Bulletin of Ukraine, 2019 No. 19, the Art. 663) changes which are applied.

2. Determine that indexation of pensions according to the Procedure for carrying out annual indexation of pensions approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of February 20, 2019 No. 124 "Questions of carrying out indexation of pensions in 2019" taking into account the changes approved by this resolution (further - the Procedure), is carried out since March 1, 2023, except the pensions specified in paragraph four of the subitem 2 of Item 3 of the Procedure if the size of such pensions which corresponds to the size of part of pension from the solidary system granted according to the Law of Ukraine "About obligatory national pension insurance" and to which application for March 1, 2022 of coefficient of increase in indicator of the average salary (income) in Ukraine with which insurance premiums are paid was supposed and it is considered for calculation of pension Item 1 of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine determined by the paragraph the second of February 16, 2022 No. 118 "About indexation of pensions and measures for increase in level of social protection of bright segments of the population in 2022" (The Official Bulletin of Ukraine, 2022, No. 18, Art. 968) which recalculation is made since March 1, 2022.

3. This resolution becomes effective from the first following after month of the termination or cancellation of warlike situation.

Changes which are made to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of February 20, 2019 No. 124

1. In the resolution:

to state the name of the resolution in the following edition:

"Questions of carrying out annual indexation of pensions";

state Item 1 in the following edition:

"1. Approve the Procedure for carrying out annual indexation of pensions which is applied.".

2. Procedure for carrying out recalculation of pensions according to part two of article 42 of the Law of Ukraine "About obligatory national pension insurance", approved by the specified resolution to state in the following edition:

Procedure for carrying out annual indexation of pensions

1. This Procedure determines the mechanism of carrying out indexation of pensions.

2. For ensuring indexation of pensions annually since March 1 recalculation of earlier granted pensions is carried out.

The coefficient of increase in indicator of the average salary (income) in Ukraine with which insurance premiums and which is considered for calculation of the pension determined annually by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine according to part two of article 42 of the Law of Ukraine "About obligatory national pension insurance" (further - increase coefficient) are paid is applied to carrying out indexation of pensions.

The coefficient of increase is determined by formula:
