The purpose of this Law is regulation of the relations in the field of security activities.
The legislation on security activities consists of this Law and other acts of the legislation.
If the international treaty of the Republic of Uzbekistan establishes other rules, than those which are stipulated by the legislation the Republic of Uzbekistan about security activities then are applied rules of the international treaty.
In this Law the following basic concepts are applied:
private sentry security - type of the security activities performed by the structural division of National guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan created for protection of objects of bodies of the public and economic board, public authorities on places and also physical persons and legal entities on contractual basis;
the private militarized security - type of the security activities performed by the structural division of National guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan created for accomplishment of special tasks on protection of especially important and categorized objects, objects of bodies of the public and economic board, public authorities on places and also physical persons and legal entities on contractual basis which office activities will be organized according to requirements of procedure for the organization and execution of guard duty;
departmental sentry protection - type of the security activities performed by the structural division of bodies of the public and economic board, public authorities on places and other organizations, subjects of entrepreneurship created without formation of legal entity for protection of the objects or the certain worker to whom accomplishment of the corresponding functions is assigned;
