Procedure for decision making about prolongation or reducing term of temporary stay of the foreign citizen or stateless person in the Russian Federation

I. General provisions

1. In the Center for questions of migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, territorial authorities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia at the regional and district levels <1> acceptance, consideration and preparation of materials about prolongation or reducing term of temporary stay of the foreign citizen or stateless person in the Russian Federation <2> are performed by officials of TsVM Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, divisions concerning migration of territorial authorities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia (including divisions concerning migration of departments (departments, Items) of police of territorial authorities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia at the district level) on whom respectively the chief of TsVM Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, by the chief of division concerning migration of territorial authority of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia assigns these functions <3>.

Statements or petitions for prolongation of term of temporary stay of the foreign citizen in the Russian Federation move in divisions concerning migration directly or through the authorized Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and the federal state unitary enterprise which is under its authority or the <3(1) organization authorized by the federal city of Moscow>.
