About use of copies of certificates of origin for the purposes of provision of tariff preferences

According to article 35 of the Agreement on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014, Item 5 of Article 314 of the Customs code of the Eurasian Economic Union and Item 12.3 of appendix No. 1 to the Regulations of work of the Eurasian economic commission approved by the Decision of the Supreme Eurasian economic council of December 23, 2014 No. 98, for the purpose of implementation of measures aimed at providing economic and food stability of state members of the Eurasian Economic Union Council of the Eurasian economic commission solved:

1. Determine that from the effective date this Decision till December 31, 2023 inclusive in confirmation of goods origin for the purposes, stipulated in Item 4 articles 37 of the Agreement on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014, the electronic or paper copy of the certificate of origin on condition of obligatory subsequent submission of the original of the specified certificate in time no later than 6 months from registration date of the declaration on goods can be represented. In this case by the customs applicant it is written by hand or copies of the certificate the obligation (in any form) about representation to customs authority in the specified original certificate time about goods origin is printed on the back.

2. In case of non-presentation of the original certificate about goods origin in time, specified in Item 1 of this Decision, the goods origin is considered unconfirmed.

3. This Decision becomes effective after 10 calendar days from the date of its official publication.
