About modification of some legal acts in connection with adoption of law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About mediation"

Article 1.

Bring in part I of the Civil code of the Kyrgyz Republic (Sheets of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, 1996, No. 6, the Art. 80) the following change:

to state part one of Article 218 in the following edition:

"The current of term of limitation period is interrupted by way:

1) presentations of the claim in accordance with the established procedure;

2) making by the obliged person of the actions testimonial of recognition of debt or other obligation;

Article 2.

Bring in the Family code of the Kyrgyz Republic (Sheets of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, 2004, No. 1, the Art. 1) the following change:

add Article 21 with part two of the following content:

"The able-bodied and capable spouses who do not have the general minor children having the right to resolve in case of mutual consent disputes on the Section of their common property by holding procedure of mediation according to the legislation in the field of mediation.".

Article 3.

Bring in the Labor code of the Kyrgyz Republic (Sheets of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, 2006, No. 4, the Art. 392) the following changes:

Article 4.

Bring in the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About the public civil service and municipal service" (the Erkin Too newspaper of November 2, 2021 No. 113-114) the following change:

to add part 1 of Article 15 with Item 17 of the following content:

"17) to perform activities as mediator.".

Article 5.

Bring in the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About Legal profession of the Kyrgyz Republic and lawyer activities" (Sheets of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, 2014, No. 7, the Art. 672) the following changes:

regarding the 2nd Article 25:

a) the subitem "v" of Item 2 after the word of "investigator" to add with the word of "mediator";

b) add part with Item 6 of the following content:

"6) to act as mediator if it renders or earlier gave legal aid of one of the parties of mediation on this case.".

Article 6.

This Law becomes effective after ten days from the date of official publication.
