Based on Item a) parts (1) article 27 of the Law No. 548/1995 on National Bank of Moldova (pereopublikovan: Monitorul Oficial al Republicii Moldova, 2015, Art. No. 297-300, 544, with subsequent changes) and taking the Strategy of monetary management of National Bank of Moldova for the medium-term period approved by the Resolution of Administrative board of National Bank of Moldova No. 303 of December 27 2012, in attention considering the analysis and the forecast in the Overview of inflation, May, 2022, and owing to discussions at meeting of Executive committee of May 5, 2022. The executive committee of National Bank of Moldova DECIDES:

1. Establish the basic rate applied on the main short-term transactions of monetary management at the % per annum 15,50 level.

2. Establish the following interest rates:

a) on the credits overnight at the % per annum 17,50 level;

b) on deposits overnight at the % per annum 13,50 level.

3. Increase regulation of required reserves from the raised funds in Moldovan lei and inconvertible currency since the period of application of required reserves from the raised funds in Moldovan lei on May 16, 2022 - on June 15, 2022 with % 28,0 to the 30,0 level of % of calculation base.

4. Increase regulation of required reserves from the raised funds in freely convertible currency since the period of application of required reserves from the raised funds in freely convertible currency on May 16, 2022 - on June 15, 2022 with % 30,0 to the 33,0 level of % of calculation base.

5. This resolution becomes effective from the date of acceptance, except for Items 3 and 4, which become effective on May 16, 2022.
