About measures for further enhancement of activities of University of geological sciences in system of the State committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on geology and mineral resources

For the purpose of implementation in practice of results of scientific research in the field of geology, wide use of modern training methods, radical enhancement of system of training of highly qualified personnel, and also providing at the required level of close interrelation between education, science and practice in the field of geology, creating favorable conditions for process of real integration of science about the earth, including its fundamental directions and practice:

1. Determine University of geological sciences (further - University) in system of the State committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on geology and mineral resources (further - Goskomgeologiya) as the scientific cluster providing integration of education, science and practice in the field of geology, and also basic highest educational institution of the republic on training of qualified personnel and coordination of research works.

2. Approve:

The development program of University of geological sciences for 2022 - 2024 according to appendix No. 1;

The schedule of fixing of students of specialized departments of University of geological sciences to subjects to practical training according to appendix No. 2;

The list of the modern laboratory and processing equipment acquired for University of geological sciences according to appendix No. 3;

The list of the target scientific projects realized in the direction of geology of oil and gas according to appendix No. 4.

3. Determine that:

70 percent of educational process at University are allocated for scientific practical training;

process of practical training by students of specialized departments of University is performed with creation of necessary conditions together with the organizations provided in appendix No. 2 to this resolution;

expenses on accommodation (food, the hostel) of the students sent for practical training to large prospecting expeditions and industrial bodies become covered at the expense of these organizations, except for the organizations located in the city of Tashkent and in the area (city) where the student constantly lives.

4. To Goskomgeologiya and Ministry of the higher and secondary vocational education:

till July 1, 2022 the solution of the Supervisory board of University to provide development and approval of the actions plan on carrying out research works on identification of the prospective areas rich with the rare and non-ferrous metals which are of great importance in the industry;

provide strict control and establishing effective monitoring of timely and high-quality accomplishment of the tasks determined in the Development program of University of geological sciences for 2022 - 2024;

since 2022 to take measures for advanced training of professors-teachers of University in the prestigious foreign highest educational and scientific organizations on the basis of modern educational methods on system basis;

till September 1, 2022 to organize the edition of the scientific and technical magazine about activities of University;

since 2022/2023 academic years step by step to implement the Digital University system in activities of University;

since 2023 to adjust the direction of researchers and scientists of University on demanded specialties in the leading foreign universities and the scientific organizations for carrying out target research works;

organize since January 1, 2023 at University scientific and innovative activities on the basis of the scientific analysis of problems of ore mining industry and the sphere of geology, integration of analysis results with the scientific researches which are carried out at the international level and also widespread introduction of the SciVal platform;

adjust since 2023/2024 academic years passing of work practice by students of University in the scientific organizations and the leading prospecting companies of the Russian Federation and other foreign states.

5. Allocate in a month to University on the basis of the right of permanent use:

The ministry of the higher and secondary vocational education, Goskomgeologiya and khokimiyat of the Surkhandarya region - educational and field polygon Darband Termezskogo of the state university, Ploshchad 10,3 of hectare located in Baysunsky district of the Surkhandarya region for target use of geological structure, lithologic and structural conditions of rocks of this territory;

khokimiyat of the Tashkent region - 2,7 of hectare of land area in the western part of educational and field polygon of Aksak-at.

6. To provide to the agency of information and mass communications together with the Ministry of development of information technologies and communications in two-month time connection of the information and resource center of University to electronic information and library resources of National library of Uzbekistan of Alisher Navoiy on the basis of the right of free use with all types of service.

7. Goskomgeologiya:

take measures for creation of necessary conditions for the organization since 2022/2023 academic years of passing of educational practice by students of University on educational and field polygons Darband in the Surkhandarya region and Aksak-ata in the Tashkent region, and also to improvement of the corresponding territories;

together with the Ministry of the higher and secondary vocational education, the Ministry of Finance, Agency on management of the state assets and khokimiyat of the city of Tashkent till the end of 2022 to develop and make in the Cabinet of Ministers reasonable offers on creation of the academic lyceum under University.

8. Assign to the chairman of the State committee on geology and the mineral B.F resources. Islamova the personal responsibility for the effective organization of execution of this resolution.

Quarterly discussion of course of execution of this resolution, implementation of coordination and control of activities of the departments responsible for its execution to assign to the deputy prime minister D. A. Kuchkarov.
