About blank forms of biometric documents and their description

In pursuance of paragraph two of Item 14 of the Presidential decree of the Republic of Belarus of March 16, 2021 "About biometric documents" the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus DECIDES: No. 107

1. Establish blank forms of biometric documents and their description:

1.1. biometric identity documents, in the form of plastic smart card with the integrated chip containing electronic means of biometric identification and cryptographic token of authentication:

the ID card of the citizen of the Republic of Belarus according to appendix 1;

the biometric residence permit in the Republic of Belarus the foreign citizen according to appendix 2;

the biometric residence permit in the Republic of Belarus stateless persons according to appendix 3;

1.2. biometric documents for departure from the Republic of Belarus and (or) entry into the Republic of Belarus in the form of the passport book with the integrated chip containing electronic means of biometric identification:

the biometric passport of the citizen of the Republic of Belarus according to appendix 4;

the biometric diplomatic passport of the citizen of the Republic of Belarus according to appendix 5;

the biometric service passport of the citizen of the Republic of Belarus according to appendix 6;

the biometric travel document of the Republic of Belarus according to appendix 7;

the travel document (The convention of July 28, 1951) according to appendix 8.

2. This resolution becomes effective after its official publication.

Description of the form of the ID card of the citizen of the Republic of Belarus

1. The form of the ID card of the citizen of the Republic of Belarus (further - the ID card) represents material design which size corresponds to the size of identification ID-1 cards.

The sizes of the ID card according to State standard of the Republic of Belarus state standard specification P ISO/MEK 7810 "ID cards. Physical characteristics" constitute:

width - 86 + mm 0,55;

height - 54 + mm 0,55;

thickness - 0,76 + mm 0,08;

radius of curve of external corners - 3,18 + mm 0,2.

The integrated chip is located in the right middle part of the ID card. Data of the ID card are read out from machine-readable zone and integrated chip.

The ID card is made of polycarbonate of white color with lazeroaktivny layers.

2. The face of the ID card is supplied with background grid of two flowers with iris peal. The drawing of background grid consists of combination of the graphical elements of protection having irregular structure.

Zone of visual inspection according to recommendations of International Civil Aviation Organization for machine-readable travel documents (part of 5 ICAO of DOC 9303) is divided into 14 fields.

On the face of the ID card are located:

in the upper left corner image of National flag of the Republic of Belarus;

in the upper part texts "RESPUBL_KA BELARUS o _DENTYF_KATSYYNAYA KARTKA" and "the REPUBLIC OF BELARUS o the ID CARD / REPUBLIC OF BELARUS o IDENTITY CARD" in two lines;

in the upper right corner the logo of the electronic passport executed optically by the changing paint and also the tag for blind persons and badly seeing people executed by relief and dot font of Braille under this logo;

in the left part not sealed background grid the place for the facsimile and texts "PODP_S / SIGNATURE / SIGNATURE" under it.

On the right from the place for the facsimile blocks locate the names of columns of personalisation executed by dye of black color:

On the back the ID card are located:

In the right part of the ID card there are places for the secondary black-and-white facsimile and two-dimensional bar code, in the lower part - the place for machine-readable zone.

The data for machine reading consisting of three lines and data of personalisation are entered by method of laser engraving.
