About introduction of the state monopoly for production of alcoholic products

For the purpose of streamlining of production, ensuring proper technology and quality of alcoholic products according to the approved standards, and also strengthenings of control of its realization:

1. Establish the state monopoly for production of alcohol food.

2. Ceased to be valid according to the Presidential decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan of 05.02.2019 No. UP-5656

3. To Uzplodoovoshchvinprom and Uzkhimprom associations together with Uzgosstandart, other interested departments in week time to develop and submit for approval of the Cabinet of Ministers the list of requirements imposed to business entities on the right of production of alcohol by them food, vodka and other alcoholic products, including providing with the companies, according to the existing standards, technologies and qualities of products, and also established procedure of its realization.

4. To the Cabinet of Ministers:

in two weeks to develop and approve procedure for provision by the companies, including the companies with the foreign capital, permissions to the right of production of alcoholic products by them;

till September 1, 1997 to carry out careful inventory count of the business entities occupied with production of alcoholic products and to determine according to requirements of this Decree the list of the companies for issue of permissions to the right of production of alcoholic products to them;

in a month to develop and approve the limiting rates of local collection for the trade right, including the license fee for the right of trade in wine and vodka products enacted according to the Tax code of the Republic of Uzbekistan since January 1, 1998.

5. To the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan in two weeks to make the offers on changes and amendments in the current legislation following from this Decree.

6. To impose control over the implementation of this Decree on the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
