In the conditions of globalization and transformation of the international and regional conflicts the question of effective counteraction to extremism and terrorism remains to one of topics of the day on the agenda.

Now the extremist and international terrorist organizations, being covered with religious dogmas, continue to extend radical views and violence in society, instigating youth to violence, loss of national identity, cultural and educational, moral and family values. All this creates conditions for involvement of citizens in ranks of the extremist and terrorist organizations.

In this regard determination of the most effective measures directed to the prevention and prevention of extremism and terrorism, elimination of sources and channels of their financing consolidation of national and international efforts in this sphere is one of the important directions of state policy.

Proceeding from the tasks determined in the Strategy of actions by five priority directions development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2017 - 2021 and also for the purpose of enhancement of measures for counteraction to extremism and terrorism:

1. Approve:

The national strategy of the Republic of Uzbekistan on counteraction to extremism and terrorism for 2021 - 2026 (further - Strategy) according to appendix No. 1;

"Road map" on realization of National strategy of the Republic of Uzbekistan on counteraction to extremism and terrorism for 2021 - 2026 (further - "Road map") according to appendix No. 2.

2. Determine the priority directions of Strategy:

promotion of ideology of patriotism, traditional values and tolerance for the purpose of the prevention of distribution of the ideas of extremism and terrorism;

the prevention of distribution among minors and youth of the ideas of extremism and terrorism;

protection of the rights of women and strengthening of their role in counteraction to extremism and terrorism;

protection of the citizens, long time staying abroad against impact of the ideas of extremism and terrorism;

counteraction to use of the world information Internet in the extremist and terrorist purposes;

broad involvement of institutes of civil society and mass media to counteraction to extremism and terrorism;

enhancement of measures of legal prosecution and responsibility for making of extremist and terrorist actions, and also their financing;

enhancement of regulatory framework in the sphere of counteraction to extremism and terrorism;

development of the international and regional cooperation in this sphere.

3. Specify the personal responsibility:

heads of the ministries and departments, Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, khokimiyats of areas and the city of Tashkent - for timely and high-quality accomplishment of the actions determined in "Road map" and submission of information to Service of state security of the Republic of Uzbekistan following the results of every half-year about results of their realization;

the chairman of Service of state security of the Republic of Uzbekistan (A. A. Azizov) - for timely representation in the office of the Security Council in case of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of summary information on strategy implementation and "Road map" with specific proposals on increase in efficiency of works in this direction.

4. To the office of the Security Council in case of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (V. V. Makhmudov) every half-year to report on the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan about the Strategy execution condition.

5. For implementation of "Road map" funds of the Government budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan, means of the off-budget funds, the international partners and other sources which are not forbidden by the legislation are raised.
