About parameters and characteristics of means of identification of animal (herds)
Based on the paragraph of the fourth of article 9 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of July 15, 2015 No. 287-Z "About identification, registration, traceability of animal (herds), identifications and traceabilities of animal products" and subitem 5.1 of Item 5 of the Regulations on the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus approved by the resolution of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of June 29, 2011 No. 867, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus DECIDES:
1. Approve Zootechnical regulations about parameters and characteristics of means of identification of animal (herds) (are applied).
2. Recognize invalid:
the resolution of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus of February 8, 2016 No. 8 "About establishment of Zootekhnichesky regulations and the rules "Requirements to Parameters and Characteristics of Means of Identification of Farm Animals (Herds) and Procedure for Their Installation";
the resolution of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus of March 3, 2017 No. 23 "About modification and amendments in the resolution of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus of February 8, 2016 No. 8".
3. This resolution becomes effective since July 8, 2021.

1. These Zootechnical regulations establish requirements to parameters and characteristics of means of identification of animal (herds).
2. Requirements of these Zootechnical regulations are obligatory for manufacturers of means of identification.
3. For the purposes of these Zootechnical regulations terms and their determinations in the values established By the law the Republic of Belarus "About identification, registration, traceability of animal (herds), identification and traceability of animal products" are used.
4. Means of identification of animal (herds) shall correspond to the following parameters:
4.1. visual means of identification:
4.1.1. labels for cattle:
the size of front level of label constitutes longwise at least 75,0 of mm and no more 85,0 of mm, on width there is at least 55,0 of mm and no more 65,0 of mm;
the size of back level of label constitutes longwise at least 55,0 of mm and no more 65,0 of mm and on width of at least 55,0 of mm and no more than 65 mm;
the pin of back level of label at the basis constitutes in the diameter of at least 4,0 of mm and no more 8,0 of mm;
the distance between back and front levels of label in close condition shall make at least 8,0 of mm and no more 10,0 of mm;
4.1.2. labels for breeding pigs and pigs whose owners are physical persons:
the size of front and back level of label constitutes longwise at least 45,0 of mm and no more 55,0 of mm and on width of at least 40,0 of mm and no more 50,0 of mm;
the pin of back level of label at the basis constitutes in the diameter of at least 4,0 of mm and no more 8,0 of mm;
the distance between back and front levels of label in close condition shall make at least 8,0 of mm and no more 10,0 of mm;
4.1.3. labels for the pigs who are not breeding:
the size of front and back level of label constitutes longwise at least 45,0 of mm and no more 55,0 of mm and on width of at least 40,0 of mm and no more 50,0 of mm;
the pin of back level of label at the basis constitutes in the diameter of at least 4,0 of mm and no more 8,0 of mm;
the distance between back and front levels of label in close condition makes at least 8,0 of mm and no more 10,0 of mm;
diameter of front and back level of label constitutes at least 25,0 of mm and no more 32,0 of mm;
the pin of back level of round label at the basis constitutes in the diameter of at least 4,0 of mm and no more 8,0 of mm;
the distance between back and front levels of round label in close condition shall makes at least 8,0 of mm and no more 10,0 of mm;
4.1.4. labels for sheep and goats:
