This Law is adopted for the purpose of secured provision of needs of the population of the republic for separate types of food products and prevention of unreasonable price increase in the period of the proceeding global koronavirusny pandemic.
Article 1. Article 483 of the Tax Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan approved in the new edition by the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan of December 30, 2019 No. ZRU-599 (Sheets of chambers of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2019, appendix 1 to No. 12, 2020, No. 3, the Art. 198, No. 10 of the Art. 593, No. 11, the Art. 652, No. 12, the Art. of the Art. 690, 691; 2021, No. 1, the Art. 6) to add with part three of the following content:
"Are exempted from May 1 to December 31, 2021 from the value added tax:
import to the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan of vegetable oil, seeds of sunflower and flax, and also soybeans;
turnover on production and (or) realization of vegetable oil (except cotton oil)".
Article 2. During the period from May 1 to December 31, 2021:
the export customs duties concerning separate types of food products according to appendix to this Law are introduced;
subjects of entrepreneurship are allowed to export no more than 50 percent of the made vegetable oil (the Commodity Nomenclatures of Foreign Economic Activity codes 1512 11 - 1512 19), received as a result of conversion by the imported these subjects of sunflower oil and seeds of sunflower.
Article 3. To the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan to establish control on non-admission of the export over 50 percent performed within export contracts from amount of the vegetable oil received as a result of conversion by the imported subjects of entrepreneurship of sunflower oil and seeds of sunflower.
Article 4. To the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan:
bring decisions of the government into accord with this Law;
provide review and cancellation by state bodies of their regulatory legal acts contradicting this Law;
provide execution, bringing to contractors and explanation among the population of essence and value of this Law.
Article 5. This Law becomes effective from the date of its official publication.
