About application of special measures

For the purpose of safety and protection of national interests of the Republic of Belarus and according to Item 2 of article 8 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of November 25, 2004 "About state regulation of foreign trade activity" I decide No. 347-Z:

1. Impose ban on:

import to the territory of the Republic of Belarus and realization in the territory of the Republic of Belarus of separate groups of goods (including goods of certain producers) which country of source are the state and (or) merging of the states which made the decision on introduction of special measures on the Belarusian legal and (or) physical persons or joined the special measures concerning the Belarusian legal and (or) physical persons accepted by other states and (or) their associations;

import on the territory of the Republic of Belarus of works (services) performed (rendered) legal entities and physical persons of the state and (or) the merging of the states which made the decision on introduction of special measures on the Belarusian legal and (or) physical persons or joined the special measures concerning the Belarusian legal and (or) physical persons accepted by other states and (or) their associations.

The inventory, works (services) and in need of the foreign legal entities and physical persons specified in part one of this Item, and terms of prohibitions are established by Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus.

2. The prohibitions called in Item 1 of this Decree do not extend to the transit of goods through the territory of the Republic of Belarus performed by vehicles of international delivery and also to other obligations of the Republic of Belarus in connection with functions of the international transit and mediation.

3. To Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus:

3.1. establish the inventory, works (services) and in need of the foreign legal entities and physical persons called in parts one of Item 1 of this Decree, and terms of prohibitions;

3.2. develop operations procedure, necessary for realization of Item 1 of this Decree;

3.3. take measures for ensuring balance of the markets, non-admission of the accelerated increase in prices for goods, works (service) called in Item 1 of this Decree, and also their substitution in the domestic market made in the Republic of Belarus and other state members of the Eurasian Economic Union;

3.4. to quickly inform the Eurasian economic commission on acceptance of specific rationing arrangements based on provisions of this Decree;

3.5. take other measures for implementation of this Decree.

4. This Decree becomes effective in ten days after its official publication.
