About the organization of activities of the Ministry of tourism and sport

According to the Presidential decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan of April 6, 2021 No. UP-6199 "About Measures for Further Enhancement of System of Public Administration in Spheres of Tourism, Sport and Cultural Heritage":

1. Approve:

organizational structure of the Ministry of tourism and sport according to appendix No. 1;

structure of central office of the Ministry of tourism and sport with extreme number of managerial personnel of 156 units according to appendix No. 2.

2. Transfer to the Ministry of tourism and sport and the Agency of cultural heritage of task and function of the Ministry of Culture, work-related with UNESCO in the sphere of material cultural heritage, and also development of the museums and libraries respectively.

3. Establish the extreme number of managerial personnel of territorial subdivisions of the Ministry of tourism and sport - 980 units.

4. Provide to the deputy prime minister - the minister of tourism and sport the right:

attract as consultants of highly qualified specialists and experts of state bodies and other organizations, the leading design institutes, scientific and educational institutions, the international organizations and the foreign companies;

make, if necessary, changes to structure of central office of the Ministry of tourism and sport, and also the subordinated organizations within the established general number of staff of workers;

approve structure and provisions, and also to determine the extreme number of managerial personnel of the Ministry of tourism and sport of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, head departments of areas and the city of Tashkent, departments of areas (cities) of the Ministry of tourism and sport.

5. Determine that:

positions of deputies and advisers to the chairman of the board of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, hokim of areas and the city of Tashkent concerning tourism development and sport are renamed respectively into positions of vice-chairmen of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, hokim of areas and the city of Tashkent concerning tourism, sport, culture, cultural heritage and mass communications;

vice-chairmen of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, hokim of areas and the city of Tashkent concerning tourism, sport, culture, cultural heritage and mass communications at the same time are the minister of tourism and sport of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, heads of head departments of tourism and sport of areas and the city of Tashkent;

advisers (except for foreign advisers) the minister of tourism and sport, and also the chief of staff according to the status, payment terms of work, medical and transport attendance are equated to deputy ministers of tourism and sport;

acceptance for work in the Ministry of tourism and sport is performed by the deputy prime minister - the minister of tourism and sport independently taking into account the coordination which are earlier carried out with the relevant state bodies;

before approval of the Regulations on the Ministry of tourism and sport compensation of employees of the Ministry of tourism and sport by extrabudgetary funds is made based on the Regulations on the State committee on tourism development approved by the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of December 2, 2016 No. PP-2666;

the off-budget fund of support of the tourist sphere for the State committee on tourism development is renamed into off-budget fund of support of tourism and sport under the Ministry of tourism and sport (further - Fund). At the same time funds of the special off-budget settlement account "Sport" of the Ministry of physical culture and sport are completely transferred in Fund;

the main sources of financing of activities of the Ministry of tourism and sport, and also its territorial subdivisions are means of the Government budget, and additional sources - the extrabudgetary funds of the ministry, other sources which are not forbidden by the legislation;

additional stimulation of employees of the Ministry of tourism and sport, and also its territorial subdivisions and subordinated organizations is performed by fund and other sources which are not forbidden by the legislation;

SUE National PR-center under the Ministry of tourism and sport the right to sign direct contracts on producer and promotion services of the foreign companies, services of foreign broadcasting companies and other mass media in preparation and broadcast of advertizing, the reportings and other rollers directed to promotion of tourist capacity of the Republic of Uzbekistan is granted;

for the purpose of replenishment of library stock of the Ministry of tourism and sport, the Agency of cultural heritage, scientific and educational institutions under the International university of tourism and cultural heritage "The silk way" of the book and benefit are imported from foreign countries through JSC Uzbekistan Airways on a grant basis and exempted from payment of customs duties.

Determine that appointment of candidates for the positions specified in paragraph three of this Item, and dismissal are performed in accordance with the established procedure based on representation of the deputy prime minister - the minister of tourism and sport.

5-1. the size of the allowance established SUE Service Center of Tourists on the services specified in this Item is established by the Ministry of tourism and sport in coordination with the Antimonopoly Committee and the Ministry of Finance.

6. To the Ministry of Finance by reasonable calculations to allocate funds for expenses of the Ministry of tourism and sport for ensuring execution of this resolution within parameters of the Government budget for 2021, since 2022 - to provide necessary budgetary funds.
