RESOLUTION OF THE CABINET OF MINISTERS OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

of February 25, 2011 No. 49

On regulation of import of finished pharmaceutical products and products of medical appointment

(as amended on 22-09-2017)

According to article 211 of the Tax Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan and for the purpose of further development of pharmaceutical industry of the republic and saturation of the domestic market by domestic medicines and products of medical appointment the Cabinet of Ministers decides:

1. Approve and enact since April 1, 2011 the List of medicines and products of medical appointment when which importing the privilege on the value added tax does not extend, stipulated in Item the 6th article 211 of the Tax Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan (further - the List), according to appendix No. 1.

2. Form the working group on consideration of offers on modification and amendments in the List of medicines and products of medical appointment when which importing the privilege on the value added tax, stipulated in Item the 6th article 211 of the Tax Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in structure according to appendix No. 2* does not extend.

3. To working group (Aripov):

till April 1, 2011 to develop and submit for approval Regulations on procedure for modification and amendments in the List of medicines when which importing the privilege on the value added tax does not extend, stipulated in Item the 6th article 211 of the Tax Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, having determined specific criteria of inclusion of medicines in the List, meaning, including the analysis of structure of population morbidity, quality and saturation of the domestic market by domestic medicines;

perform regular monitoring of the pharmaceutical market of the republic and, if necessary, each six months to make offers on change and amendment of the List.

4. To impose control of execution of this resolution on the deputy prime minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. N. Aripov.
