About accession of the Republic of Belarus to the Convention for ensuring the international unity and enhancement of metric system

It is accepted by the House of Representatives on November 19, 2019

It is approved by Council of the Republic on December 3, 2019

Article 1. Join the Convention for ensuring the international unity and enhancement of the metric system signed in Paris on May 20, 1875 with the amendments made by the Fourth General conference of measures and scales on October 17, 1907 and the International convention making changes to the Convention for ensuring the international unity and enhancement of metric system signed in Paris on May 20, 1875 and the Charter attached to it signed in Sèvres on October 6, 1921 (further - the Metric convention).

Article 2. Determine the State committee on standardization by body, actionees of obligations assumed by the Republic of Belarus under the Metric convention.

Article 3. To Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus in six-months time after entry into force of this Law to take the measures necessary for realization of provisions of the Metric convention.
