Article 1. Extend to the military personnel, and also faces of the private and the commanding structure, cadets and students of the educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation which are carrying out and who were carrying out tasks in the conditions of armed conflict in the Chechen republic, operation of the Law of the Russian Federation "On additional guarantees and compensations by the serviceman who is passing military service in the territories of the states of Transcaucasia, the Baltics and the Republic of Tajikistan, and also carrying out tasks in the conditions of emergency state and in case of armed conflicts" (Sheets of the Congress of People's Deputies of the Russian Federation and the Supreme Council of the Russian Federation, 1993, N 6, Art. 181; N 34, of the Art. 1395).
Article 2. To the government of the Russian Federation to determine zone of armed conflict in the Chechen Republic, time of accomplishment by the military personnel, and also faces of the private and the commanding structure, cadets and students of the educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation of tasks in this zone and procedure for provision of additional guarantees and compensations by it.
Article 3. This Federal Law becomes effective from the date of its official publication.
