LAW OF THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA

of July 7, 2005 No. 142-XVI

About approval of the List of the directions of professional training and specialties on training in higher educational institutions, cycle I

(as amended on 24-05-2018)

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Article 1. Approve the List of the directions of professional training and specialties on training in higher educational institutions, the cycle I provided in appendices 1 and 2, being integral part of this law.

Article 2. The higher education on receipt of degree of the licentiate will be organized in the directions of professional training (specialties) according to the specified list, except for the directions regulated by the European Union by means of special regulations.

Article 3. To the government:

take necessary measures for application of the specified list which is component of state standards in the field of training in the state and private higher educational institutions since 2005/06 academic years concerning the students enlisted on the first rate;

provide training in the directions of professional training "Public management", "Medicine", "Pharmacy", "Military science", and also in the directions concerning protection of public order and safety of the state it is exclusive in the state educational institutions;

establish procedure for approval of quota of training in private and in the state higher educational institutions on contractual basis with introduction of tuition fee.

Article 4. The list of specialties on training in the highest and average special educational institutions approved by the Law No. 1070-XIV of June 22, 2000 remains in force for average special educational institutions, and also for students of the higher educational institutions enlisted for study up to 2004/05 academic years who will complete training according to provisions of this list.

Article 5. This law becomes effective from the date of acceptance.
