About the State program of reproductive health for 2019-2022

1. Approve the State program of reproductive health for 2019-2022 it (is applied).

2. To the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan, the central and local executive bodies of the government to realize this program within annually provided means for health sector and other sources of financing which are not forbidden by the legislation.

3. To provide to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan the course of accomplishment of this program and until the end of every year to provide information on results of its realization in the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The state program of reproductive health for 2019 - 2022

1. General provisions

1. The state program of reproductive health for 2019-2022 (further - the Program) is developed for regulation of process of education and training of sexual ethics and protection of reproductive health.

2. Population increases in the Republic of Tajikistan every year, and there is regulatory issue of family and reproductive health of the population.

3. This program promotes sustainable development of reproductive health, promotion of process of regulation of family, health of mothers, children, teenagers and youth, training of sexual ethics and ensuring financing of reproductive health of the population.

This program is developed for the purpose of promotion of regulation of family, increase in availability, quality and efficiency of servicing of reproductibility of the population, improvement of health of women, education of sexual ethics, involvement of partners in development, public associations and private sector for ensuring financing of educational institutions, the equipment with the modern equipment and technology and providing medical institutions with contraceptive means, training of workers of health sector in the field of reproductive health, strengthening of supply management and distribution of contraception, development of information and education materials, increases in awareness and knowledge of the population concerning reproductive health.

5. Tasks of the Program consist from:

- protection of reproductive health of the population;

- availability in reproductive servicing;

- declines in mortality of mothers;

- providing medical institutions with the modern equipment and technology;

- providing educational institutions with important educational materials for effective training in the field of reproductive health of the population.

6. In the Republic of Tajikistan for sustainable development of reproductive health and regulation of family, health of mothers, children, teenagers and youth specific measures are taken. In the period of the state independence for providing kontratseptika with high-quality servicing to the population, all centers of reproductive health of the republic are annually provided with means of undesirable abortion, services of kontratseptika to the population are provided free of charge. In the period of the state independence to specialists of health sector, during the different educational periods classes on the different subjects connected with reproductive health that is "Observation and antenatalny leaving", "Counteraction of workers of health sector during violence in family", "Protection of spiritual health of youth", "Children and human immunodeficiency virus and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome of the person", "Modern kontratseptichesky technologies", "Insertion and removal of intrauterine spiral", "The prevention of diseases sexually transmitted", "The prevention of transfer of human immunodeficiency virus from mother to the child" were given.

11. In the budget of health care necessary funds for purchase of reproductive contraceptives are allocated.

12. As a result of integrated approach decreases maternal (in 2008 - 46,5 and in 2018 - 24,0 on 100000 live-birth) and infantile death rate, women have access to services of regulation of family that promoted decrease in undesirable abortions and increase in interval between childbirth.

13. For the purpose of protection of health of youth and for improvement of availability to high-quality reproductive medical services the order of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan of August 31, 2004, No. 348 "About approval of the Strategic plan on reproductive health for the period till 2014" was approved and its execution was provided.
