About measures for strengthening of homeland security and further enhancement of intelligence activities

According to the subitem 5) of article 44 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, article 17-1 of the Constitutional law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan" for the purpose of strengthening of homeland security and optimization of structure of special state bodies I DECIDE:

1. Reorganize Service of foreign intelligence of the Republic of Kazakhstan Syrbar by accession to Committee of homeland security of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. Form department of Committee of homeland security of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Service of foreign intelligence of Committee of homeland security of the Republic of Kazakhstan (further - Service).

3. To committee of homeland security of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

To submit 1) for approval to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan the project of the Regulations on Service;

2) to take other measures for implementation of this Decree.

4. Bring in the Presidential decree of the Republic of Kazakhstan of March 11, 2008 No. 552 "About approval of the Regulations on Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan" (SAPP of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 2008, Art. No. 12-13, 116) the following change:

in the List of state bodies, directly subordinate and accountable to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, approved by the above-named Decree:

"Service of foreign intelligence of the Republic of Kazakhstan Syrbar to exclude line.

5. To impose control of execution of this Decree on Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Office of the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

6. This Decree becomes effective from the date of signing.
