1. Approve the enclosed Operational regulations, servicing and repair of artificial features.

2. To provide to committee of transport of the Ministry of the industry and infrastructure development of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the procedure established by the legislation:

1) state registration of this order in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2) within ten calendar days from the date of state registration of this order the direction in the Kazakh and Russian languages in the Republican state company on the right of economic maintaining "Institute of the legislation and legal information of the Republic of Kazakhstan" for official publication and inclusion in Reference control bank of regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

3) placement of this order on Internet resource of the Ministry of the industry and infrastructure development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3. To impose control of execution of this order on the supervising vice-minister of the industry and infrastructure development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

4. This order becomes effective after ten calendar days after day of its first official publication.

Operational regulations, servicing and repair of artificial features

Chapter 1. General provisions

1. These rules of technical operation, servicing and repair of artificial features (further - Rules) are developed according to subitem 34-38) of Item 2 of article 14 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan of December 8, 2001 "About rail transport" and determine procedure for technical operation, servicing and repair of artificial features.

2. In these rules the following basic concepts are used:

1) artificial feature - the construction built on crossings of the railroad with the water barriers, other railroads, highways, deep gorges, ridges which are built up with urban areas, and also built for ensuring safe transition of people through railway tracks and ensuring stability of subgrade in close conditions;

2) water throughput pipe - the artificial feature stacked in body of railway embankment for the omission of water-course in case of small expenses of water;

3) railway bridge - the artificial feature serving for continuation of railway track over obstacle;

4) railway tunnel - the artificial feature serving for continuation of railway track through high-rise or planimetric obstacle;

4) railway tracks - real estate units (main, station, sidings) on which movement of railway vehicles is performed;
