About additional measures for enhancement of activities of the Ministry of Economy and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan

For the purpose of accomplishment of the established tasks on complex development of the territories taking into account their potential, including on upgrade and diversification of the regional industry, rational distribution of production forces and investments, effective use of the available land resources irrigated, bogarny and pasturable land, to creation of modern infrastructure, rational use of manpower and consecutive increase in level of living of the population:

1. Ceased to be valid according to the Presidential decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan of 13.08.2019 No. UP-5780

2. Assign the following additional tasks to the Ministry of Economy and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

development of target regional programs for development of the industry in regions, and also coordination of implementation of these programs by the ministries and departments;

development of offers on the accelerated development of import-substituting production on the basis of programs for attraction of direct foreign investments to regions, upgrades and diversifications of the industry, and also to effective placement of production forces;

direct participation in the work which is carried out by the responsible ministries, departments and khokimiyats of rational use of land and water resources and optimum placement of crops, structural change of agricultural production, development of works on seed farming and selection, implementation of modern agrotechnologies and methods of economical water use, improvement of meliorative condition of lands;
