About scientific, scientific and technical and innovative activities
For the purpose of enhancement of scientific, scientific and technical and innovative activities:
1.1. since January 1, 2021 state policy in spheres of scientific, scientific and technical and innovative activities is created according to the priority directions of scientific, scientific and technical and innovative activities (further - the priority directions);
1.2. priority directions:
are determined on the basis of the Concept of homeland security of the Republic of Belarus, the National strategy of sustainable social and economic development of the Republic of Belarus, and also the results of the complex forecast of scientific and technical progress of the Republic of Belarus for the corresponding period approved by the decision of the Commission on questions of the state scientific and technical policy under Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus;
are developed by the State committee on science and technologies and National academy of Sciences of Belarus together with interested till March 1 of the year preceding the new five-year period;
affirm the President of the Republic of Belarus for a period of five years;
1.3. The state committee on science and technologies provides functioning of single system state scientific and state scientific and technical examinations *, the organization and conducting these examinations.

2.2. in part two of Item 1 of the Presidential decree of the Republic of Belarus of April 10, 2008 No. 200 "About accession of the Republic of Belarus to the Protocol on environmental protection to the Antarctic Treaty" words "Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection" shall be replaced with words "National academy of Sciences of Belarus".
3. Recognize invalid decrees and presidential decrees of the Republic of Belarus (appendix).
4. To Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, National academy of Sciences of Belarus:
provide development of lists of scientific, scientific and technical and other programs according to the priority directions for the subsequent approval of these lists according to the procedure, established by the legislation;
annually, since 2022 to submit to the President of the Republic of Belarus the report on realization of the priority directions within the report on condition and perspectives of development of science in the republic;
till January 1, 2020 to provide reduction of acts of the legislation in compliance with this Decree and to take other measures for its realization.
5. This Decree becomes effective after its official publication.
