About use of renewable energy resources

The purpose of this Law is regulation of the relations in the field of use of renewable energy resources.
The legislation on use of renewable energy resources consists of this Law and other acts of the legislation.
If the international treaty of the Republic of Uzbekistan establishes other rules, than those which are stipulated by the legislation the Republic of Uzbekistan about use of renewable energy resources then are applied rules of the international treaty.
In this Law the following basic concepts are applied:
local network - independently functioning power, thermal and (or) gas network for transportation (transfer) and (or) distribution of electrical, heat energy or biogas;
micro and small hydroelectric power stations - besplotinny hydroelectric power stations with installed capacity to 0, MW and 30 MW respectively using energy of natural movement of water flows for production of electrical energy;
the certificate of "green energy" - the electronic document confirming development of electrical energy with use of renewable energy resources;
renewable energy resources - energy of the sun, wind, heat of the earth (geothermal), natural movement of water flows, biomass which is naturally recovered in the environment;
use of renewable energy resources - the activities connected with research, developmental, prospecting, implementation, design, construction and operational works, and also energy production from renewable energy resources, its transportation, accumulation, realization and consumption;
producers of energy from renewable energy resources - the legal entities or physical persons performing energy production from renewable energy resources;
