About approval of the Technical regulation concerning requirements to ecodesign of water pumps

According to article 5 of the Law of Ukraine "About technical regulations and assessment of conformity" the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides:

1. Approve the Technical regulation concerning requirements to ecodesign of water pumps which is applied.

2. To provide to the state agency on energy efficiency and energy saving implementation of the Technical regulation approved by this resolution.

3. Bring in the list of types of products by which bodies of the state market supervision exercise the state market supervision approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of December 28, 2016 No. 1069 (The Official Bulletin of Ukraine, 2017, No. 50, the Art. 1550), change which is applied.

4. This resolution becomes effective in six months from the date of its publication.

The technical regulation concerning requirements to ecodesign of water pumps

General part

1. For the purpose of introduction into circulation of the dynamic water pumps for pure pumping including which are built in in other products, this Technical regulation establishes requirements to ecodesign of water pumps.

This Technical regulation No. 547/2012 of the June 25, 2012 supplementing the Directive 2009/125/EU of the European Parliament and Council concerning requirements to ecodesign of water pumps is developed on the basis of Regulations of the Commission (EU).

2. Action of this Technical regulation does not extend on:

the water pumps intended especially for pure pumping at temperature below -10 °C or above +120 °C except the information requirements determined in subitems 11 - the 13th Item 3 of appendix 2;

the water pumps intended only for fire-proof application;

delivery water pumps;

the self-soaking-up water pumps.

3. In this Technical regulation terms are used in such value:

1) the vertical multistage water pump (MS-V) - dynamic multistage (i> 1) the hermetic water pump in which driving wheels are mounted on vertically rotating to shaft, intended for pressure to 25 bars, with nominal frequency of 2900 revolutions per minute and the maximum giving of 100 cubic meters per hour (27,78•10-3 of cubic meters per second);

2) the water pump - hydraulic part of the device which moves clear water thanks to physical or mechanical impact and has one of the following designs:

the pump with unilateral absorption with own bearings (ESOB);

the modular pump with unilateral absorption (ESCC);

the direct-flow modular pump with unilateral absorption (ESCCi);

vertical multistage pump (MS-V);

submersible multistage pump (MSS);

3) the water pump with unilateral absorption - the hermetic one-stage dynamic pump with unilateral absorption intended for pressure to 16 bars with specific rotating speed of ns from 6 to 80 revolutions per minute, the minimum nominal giving of 6 cubic meters per hour (1,667•10-3 of cubic meters per second), the maximum capacity on shaft of 150 kW, the maximum pressure of 90 meters with nominal frequency of 1450 revolutions per minute and the maximum pressure of 140 meters with nominal frequency of 2900 turnovers in minute;

4) hermetic - airtight joint of shaft between the driving wheel in pump housing and the engine, and the driving engine remains dry;

5) the dynamic water pump - the water pump which repumps clear water thanks to hydrodynamic forces;

6) the submersible multistage water pump (MSS) - multistage (i> 1) the dynamic water pump with the nominal outer diameter of 4 inches (cm 10,16) or 6 inches (centimeter 15,24) intended for operation in wells with nominal frequency of 2900 revolutions per minute in case of working temperature in the range from 0 °C to +90 °C;

7) the modular pump with unilateral absorption (ESCC) - the water pump with unilateral absorption with the extended shaft of the engine which is also pump shaft;

8) the delivery water pump - the water pump which repumps clear water by forcing of certain pure amount and pushing out of this amount from the pump;

9) the pump with unilateral absorption with own bearings (ESOB) - the water pump with unilateral absorption with the built-in bearings;

10) nominal flow - the pressure and giving guaranteed by the producer under normal conditions to operation;

11) the direct-flow modular pump with unilateral absorption (ESCCi) - the water pump in which the water intake of the pump is located on the same axis, as the water drain device;

12) the self-soaking-up water pump - the water pump which repumps clear water and which can begin to work and/or function even then when it is only partially filled with water;

13) clear water - water with the maximum content of not absorbing free 0,25 solid of kilogram on cubic meter and the maximum content of dissolved solid substances of 50 kilograms on cubic meter provided that general content of gas in water does not exceed saturation amount. Any additives necessary to avoid freezing of water to -10 °C, are not taken into account.
