About creation of the State center of support of national cinema

According to the subitem 2) of article 4 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About cinematography" the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan DECIDES:

1. Create non-commercial joint-stock company "State Center of Support of National Cinema" (further - society) with absolute participation of the state in its authorized capital.

2. Determine the main object of activity of society:

1) provision of the state support in type of financing of the film projects applying for recognition by their national movies and national movies, including to the legal entity with absolute participation of the state in the authorized capital which main object of activity is production of movies, in the amount of at least thirty five percent from the total amount of the annual amount of the state financial support;

2) payment of subsidies in the sphere of cinematography;

3) financing of dubbing-in into Kazakh of the children's animation movies and movies for family viewing imported on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3. To create the authorized capital of society at the expense of the republican property which is on balance of the republican state state company "National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan" according to appendix 1 to this resolution.

4. Ceased to be valid according to the Order of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan of 11.11.2024 No. 952

6. And sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the procedure established by the legislation to provide to committee of state-owned property and privatization of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with the Ministry of Culture:

1) development and approval of the charter of society and its state registration in judicial authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2) transfer to the Ministry of Culture and sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan of rights of possession and use of the state block of shares of society;

3) acceptance of other measures following from this resolution.

7. Approve the enclosed additions which are made to some decisions of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

8. This resolution becomes effective from the date of its signing.

The subitem 2) of Item 2 of this resolution is effective till December 31, 2025 according to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About cinematography".
